    I have a two camera sequence (two tracks). During shooting, the cameras started at different times and had pauses for tape changes, so there are small portions in which only one track has footage.

    Once captured, the footage was put onto two tracks. Each track has 3 clips, corresponding to each tape. The two tracks were then synched using audio cues for each pair of clips.

    I would like to make multiclips (or possibly a multiclip sequence) using timecode as a synch method. I am using FCP 5.0.2, OS X 10.4.2, QT 7.0.1. So, I followed the method outlined by one of RippleTraining’s tutorial clips (which was geared to pre-FCP5 multi-camera editing setup), i.e., to start with the first clip in the sequence and base other clip’s timecode off of that one, moving along the timeline.
