I’m trying to make timecode print filter work with a sequence that starts with bars at 1:59:30, program starting at 2:00:00. for some reason, it refuses to see the actual TC from the sequence, starting instead at 0:00:00. so I have to use offset to work around it.

If I put in hour offset 2 with -900 frame offset, it displays negative numbers before it hits 2:00:00. Not what I want.

If I put in hour offset 1, then I can’t get enough frames to get me up to 1:59:30. This seems screwy in any case.

    Is there a better solution?

    Thanks.

You need to be in Timecode Reader, not Generator. Sounds like you’re in the Generator mode.

If you want to make a timecode print of an entire Sequence with matching TC from that Sequence you first need to Nest it. Then apply the filter to the nest and ensure it’s in Reader mode.
