    …We’re working on a show that had audio recorded to multiple (24) audio tracks. Those tracks have been supplied to us as individual .wav files (1-24)…the last track containing just an audio timecode signal that supposedly was generated by the house clock (and matches the TOD code recorded by the cameras.)

    Here’s the question…is there any way to tell FCP to look at the audio signal itself for timecode data (just like 1985)? There’s no TC data embedded in the .wav files. We’re working in FCP 5

    To use/view the timecode recorded on an audio track, you’ll need to send that audio (as it plays) to an external TC reader.

    This would be a nifty Mac/FCP program for a software writer to concoct.
