    Hi Noah,
    The HMC150 can not accept RCA in just out. Do you mean the XLR inputs? What are the steps. Thanks

    Yeah then XLR as your audio line input. Pretty simple…

    Noah,
    So sending smpte timecode out of pro tools through XLR as my audio line input, then i will see the smpte time code from pro tools on play back on my footage?

    Sorry- you are just sending audio timecode and recording it. When you play back the recordings you’ll have audio again. So if you have the hardware in protools to convert that back to timecode you’ll have timecode. But the camera has zero awareness of it with this method.

    I am not familiar with Pro Tools, but you can jam sync TC on the 150 through the RCA video output jack. Menu > TC/UB Setup > EXT TC LINK > SLAVE. As I said, I don’t know if this will work with Pro Tools.
