Posted by Frederic Lumiere on August 27, 2007 at 2:44 pmCan the self contained export include a timecode track in the Quicktime movie?
Thanks,

August 29, 2007 at 1:33 pmAre you refering to creating a BITC track (timecode in vision ontop of the movie)? If so then there is an option in Boris to create timecode, but you would have to render it first of course.
Derek.

August 29, 2007 at 9:17 pmHey Derek,
Thanks for the response.
Actually, not VITC TC – what I’m looking for is 2 things:
1/ The ability to do burnt TC on the video frame (like in FCP TC Generator)
2/ Have a TC track in the resulting QT movie so the appropriate TC (starts at 01:00:00:00 in my case) shows at the bottom left of the QT movie in QT player.
Also, I don’t have Media 100 (asking for one of my remote editors) so if you know how and could give me specific instructions (menu by menu steps) I would be eternally greatful!
Thanks,
Frederic

August 30, 2007 at 5:18 pmHello Frederic,
Am not familiar with FCP TC Generator but can explain how to put timecode on screen using Media100. Have a look at this post I made a couple of years ago:

Hopefully you have Boris to do it – good luck,
Derek.
