Timecode Generator, wont sync up to my timeline!!
Ok, so I’m kinda freaking out right now because I don’t think I’ve run into this problem before but my timecode generator is skipping frames!
I need to send timecode and I was hoping the client could set markers in vimeo using the review tools and then it could just be a matter of typing in the timecode but . . . what am I doing wrong here?
Isn’t that weird?

I don’t know how to fix, but the colon vs semicolon is the most obvious difference. This usually indicates drop frame vs non-drop frame.
From my basic understanding, it means that the numbers change inconsistently in drop frame to match real time up with clock time. I believe it’s 1 frame every minute except every 10 minutes when no frames are dropped…

No ????It just indicates you are using Drop Frame timecode in your project.
I’m not at a machine with FCP but I think in the effects inspector you can select a user TC instead of Source/Project, though this doesn’t make sense.
