  Timecode Field adjusting to show duration

  I’d like to park somewhere on the time line, mark my in point, and have one of the Timecode Field counters on the canvas set the in at 00:00:00:00. Then when I move down the time line the counter would show me the duration, from in point to the play head. Likewise, I’d like to be able to do this in the viewer as well. As it is set up now you can only get a duration by marking both an in and an out. The Timecode Field counters are not “live”, indicating a longer or shorter selection as you move. Can anyone advise me on how to do this? Thanks a lot.
