Hi, Everyone. Has anyone used this macro with excel?…. :https://www.belle-nuit.com/download/index.html. It sounds like it is very useful. You can type in timecode into Microsoft excel as 10231529 and it will automatically change it to 10:23:15;29.(similar to typing it in to FCP or other TC related programs)

I’m running excel 2004 on a mac with Leopard. I followed this guys install instructions: https://www.talino.org/blog/using-timecode-in-excel.

But I can’t get it to work. I can find the macro in Functions where it offers more advance processing (TCmin/TCdiv etc) but I really just want to use the basics and avoid entering millons of “:” “;”

Has anyone used this macro with success?

    Format cellsnumbercustom. Enter 00:00:00:00

    Works a treat!

Sorry for some reason the backslashes on my original posting did not appear here!

    It should read:
format cells, backslash, number, backslash, custom,
then enter 00 backslash, colon,00 backslash, colon, 00 backslash, colon, 00
