timecode error?
Hey Guys,
For some reason, when I’m capturing on the fly, Avid always stops the capture everytime there’s a cut on the tape. But there’s NO timecode break. So why does it automatically do that? Is there a setting that can allow me to capture without the machine stopping, and still keeping the timecode that’s on the tape?Thanks,

if you’re talking dv it may be a scene extraction issue??
If you’re talking digibeta it may be a camera tc generator problem, try switching your vt to read vitc or ltc as opposed to the usual auto setting.
