November 14, 2017 at 5:19 amCan you put the TC effect on a 4K clip, resize it for that format, copy it, and paste it to all other 4K media (thus also copying the resize parametres)? I haven’t tested this, just thought it could work.

November 14, 2017 at 5:48 amAnn, yes it will read the correct timecode if applied to one clip and copied over to the rest but the sizing problem remains for any 4k clip that is 80% size or larger, the timecode burn is hidden below the viewable screen area. The simple solution in my mind is that the timecode effect should not be affected by the resizing of a clip. the default timecode burn window should be a fixed size.

August 28, 2018 at 3:36 amI’ve got the same issue. The TC never reads the proper timecode.
I have a multi-cam sequence set up and am trying to export a file for transcription – I want the TC to change everytime I have a cut – I also adjusted the TC on the Multicam so that everything matches and adjusted the TC to all the clips so that they are all the same – the timecode effect ignores the adjusted timecode and only shows the original timecode for each clip.
super annoying.

May 24, 2021 at 10:43 pmGod bless you, Ervin. I’ve been searching for the fix for ages and that was it! My issue was with the “clip name” effect.
