TimeCode Display While Capture
Hi, I would like to know if FCP can display Tape TC while Capture window is open. Unfortunately I don’t have VCR near me when I must catpure footages So It is impossible to me to check the TC. Is it possible to see Tape TC running while capturing. Yes, I could take the VCR TC Out Monitor but…for several reasons I can’t so…Anyone have an idea

I wish there was….annoying isn’t it? Avid has this, but FCP…when you hit CAPTURE NOW or any other CAPTURE option, the control surface vanishes and all you get is that monitor.

I just now found myself in a situation where I really needed to display timecode while capturing. Agreed, what an pain.
It’s really hard to imagine how this , and the generally poor options to display TC in any situation, has not become a priority.
Any wagers on whether this will be addressed in the next significant update?
