I have a situation where a producer is looking at a tape we have shot and is using the DVX100A to shotsheet the tape and create in/out points. The timecode dislay seems to be inaccurate compared to the Sony DSR-11 and the capture window in Premiere Pro 2.0. Is there a way to set-up timecode in the camera to help the producer be more accurate in giving timecode for editing? We have tried ejecting the tape after rewinding it to the beginning to reset the counter to zero, but sometimes it seems to shift. The final solution might be setting up an additional editing work station for viewing purposes, but I would like to avoid the additional cost. Thanks for your help.

What’s the timecode doing? When you say “shift” what does that mean?

Are you sure you’re looking at timecode and not user-bits?

More specific description of your problem would be helpful.

    Thanks,
