Timecode Display
I have som DV tapes and i want to transfer them to VHS via FCP.
I want to see the DV tape timecode on the VHS tapes, so that I
can watch them and make some pen-and paper pre editing at
home. Does anyone know how to make FCP display the DV-tape
timecode on screen?Regards/

You could use the timecode reader in FCP and render the whole thing out, but why bother. Most cameras, even some of cheapest, have a menu setting that will output the viewscreen display including any timecode. Simply dub the tape directly to VHS in that mode for viewing purposes. That’s what I do all the time.
