Timecode disappearing – any suggestion?
I’m doing a project and wanted a work file with timecode. I like to create new track with a text file of the file name in small letters, extend it the length of the project and add timecode as an effect. This way I can turn that track off and on easily. I’ve done this several times without problem. I’m doing a project now, however, and the timecode on the lower right disappears. It will show up on the left if I put it there or the middle but no right. It does show on the right a very short area that only reflects the seconds. Does anyone have an idea what is happening here?

Is it possible you have the “split screen” button pressed and the right half of the screen is the portion that has “no effects”?

That was it! Baffling since (to my knowledge) I never touch that button.
