    I am using Compressor 3.02

I bring in a 3 minute ProRes clip with NDF timecode starting at 01:00:00:00

Flip4Mac allows me to create a WMV output setting.. so I do.
I activate the “Timecode Generator” in the Filters Tab and everything looks great in the preview window. The timecode is being read from the Quicktime and it matches perfectly.

I submit the job and it renders for a few minutes.

I open the resulting wmv file and the timecode burn is off by like 3 sec.
Instead of starting at 01:00:00:00, it starts at 01:00:03:04

Anybody seen this or have a suggestion.

Right now I am burning the timecode to the source QT in FCP, then exporting to Compressor.

    Thx,

    -mark

    Hi Mark —

Not sure if this would help at all, especially since your post is over a year old now! Nonetheless: My company Limeboy Sofware has released Timecode Commander, which allows you to burn timecode directly into WMV files.

    https://www.limeboy.com/products/timecode_commander

You can download a free trial to see if it would solve your problem.

    Kind regards,
    Mike.
