We want to do exports of clips with a timecode burn in. However in the drop down boxes for selecting what gets burnt in there is DV TC and MXF timecode but nothing for QT timecode and these are QT movies with timecode in them. How do we get to see this timecode. There doesn’t actually seem to be a column anywhere for QT timecode.

The source files are Prorez Qt

    Any hints?

    hi

to burn in timecode one just needs to tick the “add timecode track” box see red box in screenshot below

the fixed text in the burn in text selection is for you to add additional metadata in the screenshot below
In this instance i’ve already added clip name ( green box ) and am appending aspect ratio ( yellow box) so i’ll get an overlay with something like “My Clip Name 16:9” burnt in as well as the timecode

You can add in quite a lot of info limited mainly by the amount of screen space you have

you can also add a watermark by choosing a graphic such as a company logo or “internal use only”
