Timecode bug

Am working with a very helpfull Vegas tec support person who found this bug fix for pal capture problems. doesn’t apply to my problem but helpful to others maybe?
(the first tec person did not get back to me in the promised 24 hours and there was no record that I even called, so try again if needed)
Tec stated that there are indeed other editors that have timecode capture problems. Many seem to be related to old tape, so I may try to borrow another deck. Others seem to be service pack two related.
Upon re-capture a few clips are captured as pal not ntsc and change/distroy the project saved timecode in and out points.
Vegas 5.0d running winxp pro with a sony dsr11 deck and dvcam tapestock.
I’ll let you all know what happens with this investigation
