June 2, 2008 at 5:35 pmPlease provide more information such as versions of everything and if you have any capture cards. What type of deck and how it’s connected will help as well.

June 2, 2008 at 6:11 pmDennis, I can’t really help you until you tell me exactly what you have tried and what exactly is going on.
What do you mean zeros appear? Imagine that I can’t see what you are doing, and you shouldn’t have to imagine too hard because I’m not there, then try and describe the problem to me.
Tell me exactly the steps you have taken to get where you are.

Jeremy is correct, how do you expect us to answer your questions if you are not going to assist us with your setup and what you are trying to do.

June 3, 2008 at 6:48 amsorry about that. I am trying to capture mini dv off of a consumer JVC deck (mini dv and vhs combo.) The timecode displays in the deck but in the log and capture window (fcp 5.1.4) where the in and out point timecode displays are, there are only zeros; 00:00:00:00
