    Hi guys;

    I use Motion to slo mo clips out of Final Cut 7 using Optical flow. In AfterEffects I can take a Quicktime clip and drag it onto the New Comp icon and the comp will start with the same timecode as the first frame of the clip. Is there any way to do that in Motion? Have the sequence start at the first frame of the Quicktime movie that I am working with?

    Since I will be slowing the clip down the rest of the timecode will be off but if I could just preserve the first frame timecode I would maintain some relationship to the source clip.

    Thoughts?

    Have you tried the “Create Project From File” button at the bottom of the Project Browser?

    I’ll take that as a “no”.
