  • time stretch multiple tracks together?

Posted by Steven J casey on November 13, 2008 at 6:01 pm

I’m working on a 30 second piece with multiple tracks of audio and video, each with edited snippets along the way. The pieces all together are 31 seconds so I want to compress everything down to total 30 seconds. I tried selecting everything and holding Ctrl as I dragged the end of the last clip back to the 30 mark. Problem is only that clip is affected. Is there a way to make everything move in relation, similar to moving keyframes in After Effects? I’m trying to avoid rendering out the whole thing and then time stretching and rendering again from there.

    thx
    Steven

Steven, after you select everything, you have to group them (the G key).
Then you should be able to do what you want.

You can use the Nested Project feature : import your veg file on a track and stretch it just like a media.
