  Time Stamp Shortcut

  I do a lot of logging in TextEdit based on the time and want to create a shortcut that pastes a timestamp into my file on command.

  So far I found an Apple Script that will do this but I have to go out of TextEdit and double click on it each time to copy the time to the Clipboard then go back into TextEdit. I feel like I’m so close but need to finish this. If there are any other ways to do this I’m open.
