Time saving with paper timecode list
Is there an easy way, if all material is already in the system, to input a paper edit list and have FCP create an assembly? I’m assuming an easy job, i.e. no duplicate timecode numbers (e.g. only one “reel 1” – and only one 01:00:00, etc.).
Typical workflow here:
1. import everything
2. send window dubs to producer
3. make rough cut based on paper edit timecode list from producerIs there a way to use Batch List for media already in the system, without importing a ton of “duration” “media start” and “media end” data which is totally irrelevant? I’d like to be able to create a text file with the following criteria:
1. Name (I’d use this to number the shots, in their final order)
2. In
3. OutBob C
