  time reverse path disappears

  in afx 8 when i time stretch -100% to reverse a movie clip (or a comp) the motion path disappears. the keyframes are there and the path works but you can’t see it or adjust the spline. seems like even if you time reverse first and then then put in postion keyframes on the time reversed clip you can’t see the path or the spline handles. i’m getting around it by doing the time reverse in a precomp but it seems weird. did it always work like that?
