    I’m having issues with a clip i’m trying to reverse using Time Remapping, the result is really pixelated & parts of the clip are actually disappearing, the clip i’m trying to reverse has an alpha on it. I suspect this may be affecting my result. Any suggestions of how else to reverse the clip? The reason i’m reversing it is that I’m trying to make a loopable clip, if someone knows a better way to create a loop that would be cool too.

    It’s not the alpha that’s causing your troubles. It’s probably the codec you’re using., which you have not stated.

    You can loop a footage item through the interpret footage dialog. With the footage file selected in the Project pane: File > Interpret Footage > Main or cmd-opt-g on a Mac, ctrl-alt-g on a PC. At the bottom under Other Options you can set a number of times to loop the footage.

    A more difficult, but generally more versatile, method of looping requires that you enable time-remapping on the clip, then add a loop expression to the time remapping property like:

    loopOut();

    There is more information on this in the online documentation.

    Not sure what my codec is, I haven’t rendered out the clip yet & I thought that was where you would chose the codec. I’m seeing the issues in my AE preview. Please excuse my lack of knowledge.
