time remapping audio?
Hey,
I have creative cloud, so if anyone says it has to goto audition, and can tell me what to do (demanding alot I know), that’s fine as I have the program and a little knowledge on it.
Basically I’m editing something and it has a heartbeat. I’d like to sorta ramp the beat or throw some effect where the heart like slows down or sounds like it’s stopping.
Any ideas?
I posted this here because I thought in premiere Pro there was a time remapping feature (I had CS3 before I just got creative cloud), and I thought that would do what I want but I cannot find it anywhere in CS6.

I see time remapping for video but not audio in Premiere Pro. Oh, you can speed it up and down, you just can’t ramp it.Audition is much easier to use for this.
In Audition, just select the heartbeats, one at a time (two sounds is one heartbeat?) and select Effects, then Time and Pitch, then Stretch and Pitch.
I took a free audio clip of a steady heartbeat and did this with it.

This patient is one sick fellow.
I can’t find a way to gradually speed up and down. You would think a rubberband somewhere would allow that. But I haven’t found a way yet.
