Time of Day Timecode on DVX100b
I am going on a shoot where I will be using 2 DVX100b cameras. Later I plan to load that footage into FCP HD 5 to edit it.
To sync the cameras I’ve been told to use time of day timecode. I’ve never shot this way and could really use some help for the best way to set up the cameras. I’m assuming that I would set the TCG to “free run” and UB mode to “time”. Is this correct?
Any tips or help would be very much appreciated.

You can preset whatever timecode you choose if you follow the advise.
