  • Time Lapse plug in for FCP?

I have some long stationary takes of cityscapes that I would like to edit into a time lapse effect without doing the tedious work. Is there a plugin that can help with that? The source material is HDV 1080/50i from mini dv tapes and I am using FCP 5.14

You still have to capture the footage as normal, lay it down on the timeline and use the Speed option from the Modify menu; easiest method and one I use frequently.

Does the Nattress one allow you to actually capture as a timelapse?

thanks Simon, but I’m really looking for application that allows you to select bursts of selected frames at periods of pre determined times…..

The Nattress is an FC effect.
You apply it in the FC time-line, on footage that you have already captured.
