Time Lapse: editing out continuous frames?
Hi everyone,
I have been trying to get a time lapse effect for a video, since the camera I use hasn’t got an option to automatically shoot still frames. Searching online I found this comment on how to do it:
“Edit-out the continuous frames. Depending on the recording speed (frames per second/minute) you may want to take-out every frame #2-5; keeping every 6th frame. If this doesn’t give the time-lapse look then increase it to keeping every 10th frame, etc.”
My question is: how do I do this? I know how to cut out just one frame, but how do I make this single frame hold untill the next frame? Another question: is there some script, or plug in to do this automatically? Also, if anyone has got tips on other methods to create time lapse video from normal video footage, I’d love to hear it 🙂
