    I need to send my client (who lives about 200 miles away) some compressed rough cuts of the shoot. I plan to make quick edits of the best footage for him to take look at. Is there a way I can add time code over the image, that way for instance he can say, I like that shot a 1:55 but hate the shot at 5:23 etc… ?

    I don’t believe you can do that with Premiere. Do a search in the archive, someone posted a timecode video a while back that you can overlay on your footage. Found it, here’s a link.

    Send him clip notes is one way.

    Use the Tcode effect is another.

    Or do both. First insert on the highest track a transparent video, add the timecode effect to that transparent video and then export using Clip notes. Here is an example:
