Time Code Display in Quicktime Player
Is there a way to see time code for a movie file in quicktime player? I have Quicktime verison 10.4
I know there use to be a drop down menu that would display running time or time code, but I don’t see that option in my current version.

Not in QuickTime X. Install QuickTime 7 Player.

The player Michael suggested is superior, but if you want to stick with Apple branded stuff, the QT 7 install won’t interfere with Quicktime X.

I believe ProPlayer makes uses of the QT components anyway, and offers a nicer UI and function set.
