Any one out there creating a timecode burn for clients and producers to play on a regular DVD for edit decisions. I’m using the Sony EX1 and FCS latest version. I’ve done this in the past with standard definition video and while it takes a while using compressor it still is workable. When I went thru the same workflow with my EX1 a 50 minute timecode burn was going to take 8 hours to render. Please tell me there is a quicker way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You could always drop in a timecode generator plugin- nest into a DV timeline and play out to DV and then encode from that. Clumsy but better than a super long render.
