Tiger issues
Getting major playback issues – by major i mean sound and vision scrambled into little bits and chewed into a fine fuzzy paste – using Decklink Extreme, FCP 4.5 and OSX 10.4.
I’ve been to the decklink site which says use driver 4.8 for OSX 10.3 and FCP 4.5 and driver 5.0 for OSX 10.4 and FCP 5.
Not sure which driver to use, not sure if it is a driver issue at all.
Any thoughts?

Likely the problem is that there is not a FCP 4.5-Tiger blackmagic driver, so your configuration is not supported. If you are running Tiger, you need to upgrade to FCP 5. If you can’t do that, then consider reinstalling 10.3.8
