Tiger 4.2 and FCP5.0.2
Posted by David Battistella on July 13, 2005 at 12:50 pmSo,
Do we know if Kona 1.1.2 is compatible with the FCP 5.02 upgrade.
Walter. I know you have been seeing buggy behavior. Are you going to maybe just do the FCP upgrade or does it go hand in hand with the OS. I checke the apple site and there is not a readme file on the FCP upgrade, it’s just “general stability improvements” all around.
Anyone taken the plunge yet?

July 13, 2005 at 3:21 pmHey Jerry.
Did you do the download and install from inside the software update?
i guess what I’m asking is, what is the correct install procedure?
Jeremy

I’m going to run the update this afternoon. I’m hoping there’s also a downloadable file as one of my system is not on the internet.

July 13, 2005 at 9:17 pmWalter,
I checked my trash can after running the software update and install. Inisde the trash were all the packed updates in a folder call apple software updates. Myabe you can burn them to cd and take them to your other machine that is not online.
Come on…live dangerously for a few minutes and run an ethernet cable to that machine and update it 🙂

or you can the update menu and select “Install and Keep Package”
then it keeps the installer in the Packages folder

July 14, 2005 at 1:15 amI have loaded FCP 5.0.2, without having upgraded to X.4.2. I am having Medea issues and I want to be sure those are cleared up before throwing another monkey wrench into the mix.
At the moment I’m running OK, but between FCP5 & Tiger, this has been one of the buggier upgrades.
