    Hello!

I’m doing an animated project and I’m importing each shot as a TIFF sequence. Although with most of the shots, they’re edited accordingly so I could just drag and drop into the timeline, I’m finding that using the TIFF sequences creates slowness in the preview window so I can’t see where to cut. The timeline arrow will move along normally but in the preview window, it’s stuck on one frame. Is there a way to move things along faster in the preview window?

What Dave said. Certainly keep your original TIFF sequences. But also convert them into video clips using Media Encoder. Use the video clips for editing in Premiere Pro. Things will work much better.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.
