    Hi Guys,

is there anyone here who can tell me if there is a Thundesplitter on the market….?

What I want to do is the following:

Use Display port to get DVI OUT on my Macbook Pro 15″
Use that same port to connect my Thunderbolt capture card from Blackmagic

Normally you should say you just daisy chain the Thunderbolt devices, but this is not possible on the Display Port cable OR on the Blackmagic capture card.

ps I also do not know if this is the right forum to post this question is (there are so many sub categories hehe)

Is the blackmagic device a PCIE card? You could put it in a magma chassis and run out to the display.
They also have a PCIE switch in the box so you’ll have 2 other slots. They can better multiplex the traffic that way so it out performs 3 daisy chained units.

    Hi Steve,
thanks for your reaction, but no I’m using the Intensity Extreme with the Thunderbolt connection, so that why I can’t hook up a second monitor because the Thunderbolt port is occupied by the capture card… 🙁
