Thumbnails missing from old project
I can’t figure out where the error is for an old project that I wanted to make a change to.
Today I clicked on a project that I had successfully completed about 18 months ago. When clicked on the old DAR file the project tried to open but I was told that some of the media was missing or had moved. Since a search didn’t find what it was looking for I told the program to open the project but ignore the missing files. The project opened OK. I could see that one background still was missing & I can easily substitute another.
What puzzles me the most is that when I open the project overview window the scene selection window opens with the default blue layout. All of the thumbnails are where they should be except that each frame is empty as if the program had forgotten just where in the video it was supposed to pick each thumbnail to display. If I try previewing the project all I can see are the correct chapter names. I can select anything on this preview screen that is displayed & it will play correctly, including jumping to play next or previous chapters. This isn’t surprising since the media button properties shows the correct starting points for each chapter. The program won’t allow me to alter these starting points.
The only thing that appears to me missing is the chapter thumbnails but I can’t figure out just what is wrong. Any ideas?
