Hi I edited a video with an image at the very beginning which specifies the content of the video. My idea was that for the beginning of the video, this is what will appear on the thumbnail of the file after the export. So I exported this media and watched the result in Windows File Explorer. The video is perfect but the thumbnail that appears is not the start frame but any part of the video. After several tries, I don’t know how the thumbnail image is chosen. Is it a precise moment T? Is it random? Can it be determined during assembly? My idea of synthesizing in one page (the start image) what the video would contain fell through.
Does anyone know how the thumbnail of exported media is determined in Premiere Pro?
    Thanks in advance.

Thumbnail is determined by the player not Premiere.
