  Three NEW FCPX Transition Effects

  A selection of three new transition effects:

  Rays Reveal – A wipe effect using light rays on the leading edge, with controls for:

  – Wipe Direction;
  – Edge and Glow Intensity;
  – Ray Color On/Off, Ray Color, Ray Color Intensity.

  Flicker Flash – A transition effect that uses “randomly” flickering brightness intensities, with controls for:

  – Flash frequency;
  – Flash Brightness;
  – Optional Color Flash On/Off, Color amount and Color selector.

  Note this effect works best with short transitions of around 1/2 second – also use of Color Flash may require tweaking of Brightness parameter depending on luminance of color chosen.

  Blur Dip to Color – a transition that combines a dip to color with a blur out and in, with controls for:

  – Blur amount;
  – Dip to color selector (defaults to black).

  Any ideas for improvements/modifications much appreciated.
