    Hey everybody.
    I really need your help.

I got some raw clips to make a wedding clips from them.
The problem is that every single camers used to made this had different framerate.

    I have a 25 fps (PAL) 50 fps ( DOUBLE PAL ) and 23,976 ( IVTC Film ).

    I need to make a 25fps .mp4 1080 final out of them.

When I try to render them there are something like a ghost going after people while moving quick.

I need all of the audio.

What can I do to make it work?
I’m totally confused. This is the really first time when I have such differences in my project.

    Please help me! 🙁

When I try to render them there are something like a ghost going after people while moving quick.

For your 50P and 24P events, make sure that you have selected Disable Resample. That may help some, but unfortunately, fast movement and low frame rates will inevitably produce image judder.

You generally want to go the frame rate that has the most screen time.

You could also convert all your footage to 23.97, which would effectively throw out frames from the other footage.

Rendering all your footage to an imtermediate format like xdcam, hdcam-sr-lite, or cineform, then disabling resample on the footage, will keep Vegas from trying to convert things on the fly. Then you just have to solve any issues with the different formats.

You need to make sure the project settings are correct for you new format.

If you keep the file names the same, you can change out the current footage on the timeline for imtermediate footage using a proxy edit method.

You really dont need to worry about different frame rate footage on the
Vegas timeline, Just make sure you “Disable Resampling” on all of them
before you render, and you will be ok.

Thank you for all the replies. I will try to make it look good.
Do you know any kind of an external program that can work with vegas and have an option “interpret footage”?
🙂 maybe something like that exist too for some smaller differences

    You are welcome Sandra.
As for your question. have you read or heard about the Handbrake Script for Vegas?

You should be good normally with just dragging and dropping footage on to the timeline. Vegas is one of the better NLEs that handles varying footage types. Other NLEs would have you convert your footage into a format that the NLE requires. You should not need an external program, I always call Vegas the Swiss Army Knife of video.

I would try the Disable Resample on each of your clips, this is done by right clicking on the timeline media and going to properties.

My suggestion of converting the footage is more of a conforming media suggestion. That way Vegas is just editing and not converting also on the fly.
