Hi everyone, was curious to hear about what Blackmagic Design Fusion is like and how it holds up to applications like After Effects. Have only every had experience working with AE but have been using BM cameras and DaVinci Resolve for a while. Does anyone have any thoughts on how Fusion holds up to AE or other VFX programs? Thanks!

Fusion is an excellent program. It has a track record that goes back much further than Blackmagic buying and selling it.
If you are coming from AE, be prepared for a bit of a learning curve. It has a different look, feel and workflow than AE does.

Timeline type adjustments are not quite as intuitive for building multiple shot sequences.

If you’ve used Nuke, you may feel more at home with Fusion.
