Thought I digitized DV 4:3. Got NTSC 3:2 in sequence setting. Do I Need to re-digitize media?
Thought I was digitizing to DV NTSC 4:3 in Easy Setup, must of slipped because I got NTSC 3:2 720×480 in the sequence settings menu and when I change that setting to NTSC 4:3, under sequence settings, I get the Red Render Ling? Do I need to re-digitize the footage to the proper codec or is there something else I’m missing? If so what is the correct way to delete the old media and project.

no… just use the preset that easy setup sets up…
