This RAM okay for Mac Pro?
Getting a mac pro and getting some additional memory. This looks like a good price, is it okay for this machine, anyone know?

Can’t say that that model is OK, but make sure the RAM has the large heatsinks, they look as if they don’t.

Apple have tweaked the cooling system and you might find a performance hit and/or more noise!Oh and don’t forget to add RAM symetrically

Other World Computing has the correct RAM and Crucial will shortly.
As Peter notes, it MUST have the heat sinks on the RAM or you don’t want it.
