Third party sellers of Adobe – experience?
I am looking to download Adobe software from third party suppliers. The reason is to get just the app I need and no more. It comes at a price, but much less than the complete package like CS3 / 4 / 5. Because it is only one app and also it is a download only.
First up is After Effects for image stabilization and motion tracking. I can do (only) some of this with Virtual Dub and add-ons but you know – boys toys.Has anyone experience of these guys?

Both sites (and their countless online siblings) appear to be frauds.
No physical address listed on either site, not even a phone number. Really?
The clear giveaway from their FAQ:
“Is there a need to register on the manufacturers website?
As we sell OEM programs, we have already registered our software and so there is no need for you to do this again.”
That’s BS. Also, I don’t believe Adobe sells OEM licenses any more. Also, there’s no such thing as a 32-bit edition of Adobe CS Master Collection. Some apps are 32-bit only, some – 64-bit only, and in general, CS6 requires a 64-bit computer.

The sites made me wary. I will try the second user route. I prefer old s/w because I want to use it on my laptop. It is only dual core but has a Solid Drive and e-sata so should be doable at CS3/4 level.FWIW the videos I have made with old versions of Premiere can be seen on YouTube at /cresbydotcom – they are short documentaries but I like to add some textual &/or visual humour. Er make that puns, er would you accept whimseys?
