    Hi,

I have used the TP surface emitter found in the content browser to add condensation to a glass bottle.

I have simply used a tiny sphere with water material for the particle geometry.

At the moment the particle numbers increase continually over the duration of my comp.

Is there any way to just have a fixed amount of particles that do not animate over time?

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers,

    Rich

You have to keyframe ‘On’ in the surface emitter’s User Data. The simplest way is probably to set the emitter to Shot, set the number of particles you want and only let the emitter be active for one frame.
