Hi, TP newbie here. I am looking to have a polygon object, say an ellipsoid be an emitter. Whereby particles emit evenly off the entire surface of the object. I am guessing this is pretty simple for someone who’s been around the block.
    Much appreciation in advance.

there’s an object emitter example in the Content Browser if the standard set is loaded in.

Thanks for the reply. I am a bit stumped by the presets. Not sure how make them do anything. They come in as a single null. I look through the xpresso for somewhere to assign an object to an emiitter. For example there’s a pshape node. But there’s not even an Object box. Forgive the ignorance. Just starting to scratch the surface.

If you click on the null and look in the attributes manager you’ll see a “Thinking Particles” tab at the top right. Click the tab and you’ll see a “polygon surgace” box. Just drag your object in there.

Young Grasshopper out of the woods for now. Thanks to all.
