    Hi everyone! I have some question! I’ve done this work https://youtu.be/Fmdq-UMUlD8.
    As we see at animation conveyor doesn’t work perfectly! Some particles leave box area of conveyor! And at 7 sec appear to scatter effect. In this work, I’ve used tad Simulation “Collider Body” for “Particles Geometry” and “Rigid Body” for box conveyor!
    I can use nod “PDeflector” in Xpresso! And collision particles with box looks perfectly! But the collision between particles disappear! If add tag “Collider Body” on “Particles Geometry ” my PDeflector in Xpresso doesn’t work!
    Maybe somebody knows Are their improvements in the Cinema 4d r19?

    would have to see the scene file, without knowing where the deflectors are etc there are too many possibilities.

    I’d keep going with the dynamics – you can’t really combine dynamics and TP Colliders (well maybe you can but there is no point if you have dynamics) and just make it all that way. Like this 11879_conveyortrial.c4d.zip

    Ok. I’ve understood how you get the clean result with dynamics tag! If we check in PStorm Birt type – Rate, the animation looks great!

    Now I’m trying to remove effect in 7 sec! Does it depend thro my object on spline?
    If I used X-particles plugin, could I get the more interesting result?
    To do the simulation of grain I’m needed a little of particles and shader with the alpha channel over it?

    I need only the direction of work, and I do not want to take someone else’s time to do it. Only advice and opinion.

    sure xparticles could work but xp dynamics, while good, are very particle based rather than the object. (at least in xp3.5, I don’t know what it will be like in 4). I’d stick with dynamics either with a TP emitter or an XP emitter. You could do a lot to quiet the excess particle bounce by making the ‘grain’ the size the actual size you want to see (or very close) and not have such a large object scaled down by the particle system.

    Maybe I haven’t given the question correctly! I have ryzen cpu 1700x. If I up count particles, my comp will spend match time to render scene! I afraid that necessary number particles will become a critical number. And I won’t get the sequence of frames! Perhaps there are ways facilitate simulation grain layer! But I don’t know about! I’ve done this work!

    To show the work of the grain machine I used the different shape and color of arrows! Here I used element3d. All my animation in c4d transmitted to E3d in after effects! But today I want up my level in a commercial!
    My main question is: Can I do commercial like Arajs video on my 1700x or it’s impossible!

    it depends on how much time you have to produce the content. Sure a threadripper or dual xeons (or quad/oct xeons etc) will allow you to do more (assuming your particles are multithreaded – xparticles is, TP is not) but regardless of how much power you have you can always bring your machine to it’s knees if you try something complex enough. Don’t be afraid to cheat. Are you really going to need every piece of grain that would be in the machine in your scene or just enough for the camera view in each shot?
    Does it need to be a perfect render of grain or will much simpler particles do for most of the shots?
    Your timeline will tell you what you can get away with – if the most efficient way to do a scene still takes too long to produce then no, the 1700X isn’t fast enough but that’s why render farms exist (and also the threadrippers/xeons/etc/etc)
