Thinking of purchasing 3D software…
I have heard that Cinema4D is the best application to start your three-d world in / / / for mac Users of Final Cut Pro – that is.
On Maxon’s website, the application is only priced at 695? So without all the extra plugins and paying only 7 hundred dollars…will I be purchasing an interface only without the ability to render out anything useful to me??
I guess what I am asking is, what do I get for the basic purchase, and should I even bother..or just go right for the studio deal which includes a handful of the modules?
Also, any rec. about another program to get started with ??
Thanks.
You can see samples of what I have done in BorisRED – – – which has no ability to snap to a z-axis and only lets you look through the perspective off the audience…meaning, to build a tractor, i just had to keep moving the container and looking, and eyeballing etc….

The opening animation took forever in RED . . . FOREVER – – –
Thanks for any suggestions on books as well.
