Simply what you are seeing is the overscan area which Cannon’s GL2 ignores,(hence the black, the pixels are working inside the TV-safe area))
Don’t do anything!
Don’t touch the dimensions, you will never see on TV, they fall outside the TV-safe area.
For the Web you may want to crop these sides off, but don’t disort with scaling.
