Hi, Did an upgrade to latest Tiger and Apple Pro suite (including all updates and uninstalled and installed latest Declink drivers too).
The problem is, now in FCP5, captured audio via Extreme analogue is “thin” as in like a phone! However, I can capture using Decklinks own capture and import that and it is fine (full toned) in FCP!

So, I know it’s a FCP thing but just can’t find what it is! Could it be in the O/S audio system prefs…maybe? I’ve tried lots of combinations but no luck…I’m sure it’s simple so if any one can point the way….. it would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!

Reinstalled the declink driver and then FCP5 and it did the trick! Obviously something needed reinstating…I think it was FCP as the Decklinck capture was fine….. but it works and that’s the main thing! Hope this helps someone else!

    Cheers!

Yep…I spoke too soon and “still” have the same problem!!! Again Decklink capture is great, FCP5 captured audio is not!
    Anyone?

    Cheers!
