  Thickening, darkening, and smoothing lines…..

  Okay, I’m pretty new to this stuff so this might sound stupid, but hey I’m learning….. Here’s the deal: I just drew this picture, with pencil, scanned it, and am now trying to color it in photoshop. But how do I thicken and darken and smooth the lines so they’re nice and clean? And make them ‘true’ black?…. Help would be greatly appreciated….
